Emerging & Evolving as a Leader

The Council for the Advancement of Muslim Professionals (CAMP) invites you to its 5th Annual Leadership Summit, which will be held at the Wyndham Conference Center in Plainsboro, NJ on April 21, 2012.

The Leadership Summit has come to be known as a forum for positive dialog, learning together and leveraging each other’s experiences – with a focus on our professional aspirations. It is an opportunity to come together to celebrate our successes, share our challenges, and plan for the future.

This year's Leadership Summit is committed to helping you emerge and evolve as a leader. We will do this by breaking down the components of leadership into defined skill sets and providing you with strategies to develop and use these skills to advance your careers.

Whether you are established on your career track or still trying to find your place in a tough market, investing in yourself as a leader is critical. Successful leadership requires a growth mindset with a focus on continued skills development, dynamic and critical thinking, and a creative approach to problem solving. This year’s keynote speakers, panels, and interactive skills-based workshops are all directed at helping you move forward on your leadership trajectory.

The full day event will feature plenary keynote addresses by Hosain Rahman and Hayat Sindi, panels exploring the leadership mindset and the role of Muslim professionals in the many communities they are part of, and interactive skills development sessions on communications, negotiations, leadership presence, and networking. Visit our Schedule and Speakers tabs for more information.
